Real Chinese Wedding Dress
In fact, the Chinese wedding dresses are not as you see in the Google image search result, the dresses they wear in a wedding, are more fashion than before.
Red is the most popular color used in wedding in China, and the Chinese brides would like to choose one red evening dress as one of the dresses they will wear in wedding days, but the white wedding dress is the must have dress for them nowadays.
The differences from western style wedding dresses are:
1. The wedding dresses which with more beads and looks more sparkling are more popular in China.
2. The dresses which are looks more sweet like with bigger bowknots are more popular.
3. The ball gowns are more popular than column and mermaid dresses.
As for the red evening dresses, not wedding dresses, there are so many styles which can choose from.
Here're 3 different styles of red evening dresses often be chosen to wear in wedding, the 1st one looks more traditional with dragon and phoenix embroidery, represents conjugal felicity. The 2nd style is a modern style. The 3rd one is the most popular, combine tradition and fashion, with lace cap sleeves and body, floral wide band sash.
Few people will choose the red dresses you see in Google search results now.

What Need to Do to Prepare a Wedding in China
In China, the wedding ceremony is now changed a lot than years ago, and all you need to do is just a few things as listed:
1. The first thing you need to do is book a hotel or a restaurant in advance where there has a large hall for you to hold the ceremony. The best time is a year before your big day. Because there're so many couples want to hold a ceremony every year.
As for the hall where the wedding ceremony will be held, there often has a long aisle for the bride to showing up, and many tables on both sides of the aisle for the wedding guests to have dinner. And there's a stage in the front of the tables, where the bride and the groom will show up together and exchange the wedding rings etc.
2. The second thing is to take the wedding dresses photos, the wedding dresses photos will be hanged up on the walls, and will play during the wedding ceremony by a digital projector.
The period from you taking the photos and getting the finished photos will normally need 2 months. During the 2 months, the photographers need to choose the better photos, PS the photos and then make the photo albums.
3. Then, you may need to choose a wedding celebration service company to help you to hold the ceremony. The wedding celebration service companies often can help you choose the bridal stylist and the wedding day photographer.
4. Till now, there maybe a few months left, it's time to buy the wedding dress, evening dress and the groom's suit. The groom often wear a formal suit in the wedding ceremony, but the bride often change the dress few times, normally 3-4 times, and sometimes even more.
The bride will wear a wedding dress for the first show up, and then wear a formal evening dress, often in red to toast to the wedding guests table by table. And at the end of the ceremony the bride will wear a semi-formal dress to see the guest off.
The best place to buy the wedding dress in China is Suzhou city, a small city in Jiangsu province. There are lot of wedding dress factories and wedding dress stores there. Prices from 200rmb to 10000rmb, and even more.
Another place to buy the dresses is Taobao.com a famous integrated online shopping website. And few famous retailers are http://mingmenxinniang.tmall.com, http://isabufei.taobao.com/, http://shop60671904.taobao.com/ and so on. The first shop mingmenxinniang is much more cheaper than the others.
5. At the last, don't forget to inform your friends and your relatives with the exact time and place your wedding ceremony will the hold.
That's all, next time I will share the details of the wedding day in China.
